Vintage Journeys Through Bookland Set. This 8 book set was written by Charles H. Sylvester. They were published in 1955 Bellows-Reeve Company. This set of books are a new and original plan for reading applied to the world's best literature for children. Stories in the book include Rumpelstiltzkin, Robinson Crusoe, Joan of Arc and many more. The set is in great condition with little wear and aging. There is some staining/discoloration.

It was published by McLoughlin Bros from New York. There is no printed date in the book, but there is writing from a previous owner dating it to Christmas of 1891. There is 248 pages in the book. The covers have wear and tear along with aging and some staining. The spine is missing its cover. The pages are still held together but the covers are barely hanging on. The pages have yellowed over time. There is some staining and writing within.

The book contains the alphabet, story lessons, addition and multiple tables. The book does have a lot of wear and tear. The covers are torn/creased and worn. There is some writing within the book. The pages have yellowed and they have some staining/creasing etc. The book is approx. 8 1/4" x 6 3/4" x

There is wear and tear to the covers and the spine. It look to have been repaired at the spine. The pages have yellowed and some staining is present. The book does have some writing in it.
