Vintage Children's Book The Straw Ox. This 1948 hardcover book is called The Straw Ox and Other Tales. It was written by Fan Kissen. The book contains stories such as Rumpelstiltskin, Jack and The Beanstalk and others. The tales are set up in play or script format so they can be acted out. The book has 160 pages. It is in good condition for its age. There is wear and tear along with discoloration and staining to the covers and corners. Some of the pages also have discolorations and bumping/creasing. I did find some handwriting within the book and there is an ink stamp inside the book.
