Vintage German Porcelain Mug. This highly ornate porcelain cup was made in Germany. It is inscribed in gold From A Friend. The cup has high relief or applied flowers in blue and orange. The cup itself has a swirl pattern halfway up the sides. There is gold around the handle and rim. Some of this has worn off. The background of the cup is a lustrous pinkish purple. It is approx. 3 3/8" x 3 3/8". It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is wear to the paint and design, along with some transfer marks around the cup.
