Occupied Japan Figural Ashtrays. These individual size porcelain ashtrays are clowns with playing card suites on them. There is a diamond and a spade. I believe this set is missing 2 and would have been used back in the day when social Bridge was played. These ashtrays could also be used for a tea bag holder, a ring holder, trinket tray, pin dish etc. The Diamond one is approx. 2 3/4" x 2". The Spade clown is approx. 2 3/4" x 1 7/8". There is a chip on the side of the one with the spade. There is wear to the paint and some discolorations.
