Antique Royal Crown Derby Cookie Jar. This porcelain/china jar features an array of orange flowers with cobalt blue and gold leaves and stems. The handle and the ring around the rim are silver plate. They are marked with the Jehoiada Alsop Rhodes & Barber silver plate mark. This mark dates this bucket to around the late 1870's. The bucket is approx. 5 1/8" tall x 5" across. There is wear to the silver plate and to the design. There are no chips or cracks. It is a very heavy jar.
