Antique George Duncan Compote. This antique Early American Pattern Glass compote is by George Duncan And Sons. The pattern is No. 90, aka Open Cryptic and/or Zippered Block. This pattern dates to around 1887. The EAPG compote is approx. 7 1/2" tall x 7 1/4" across. It is in good condition with wear and aging. There is a lot of scratching around the bowl.

Antique EAPG Covered Compote. This antique glass compote was made by Central Glass Co. of Wheeling around 1881. It is their pattern No. 555, aka Nail City. It is Early American Pattern Glass. The compote features a pattern of flutes and columns. This is a rather larger covered pedestal bowl measuring approx. 13 1/2" tall to top of lid, 8 3/4" tall without lid, 10" across the bowl with a base of 5 1/2". The compote does have wear, aging, scratching and some air bubbles. There is some small chipping around the finial of the lid. There is also a flaw or air bubble where the bowl attaches to the pedestal.
