Teacup and Saucer Leon Sazerat Limoges France Tea Cup and Plate
$27.00
LS Limoges Teacup and Saucer. This porcelain teacup and saucer is marked LS Limoges France. It was made by Leon Sazerat. The set dates to between 1891 and the late 1890's. The set is a pale blue in color. It has a band of blue and purple flowers on the inside edge of the cup. The handle and the foot of the cup are in gold as is the rims of both pieces. There is a slight ribbing to the set. To me, the colors of the plate and cup are not an exact match. The plate seems to be lighter and maybe even a greener blue. The cup is approx. 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". The saucer is approx. 5". Both pieces are in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear and aging to the set.
